South Florida Jr. Trailriders To the Rescue!

Sunday, May 15th was a very good day for the animals at the South Florida SPCA! About 20 members of the South Florida Junior Trail Riders donated their time and spent the day maintaining the rescue ranch facility and pampering 15 horses. Everyone arrived about 10 am and just asked me a few questions. Before I knew it, horses and ponies were everywhere, getting groomed, washed and pampered. The confidence and the competence of these youngsters was amazing. I just stood there with my jaw hanging open, it was an amazing site to see! (I was asked to close my jaw by several of the volunteers). If it had four legs, it got washed. Even my German shepherd did not have a choice and received a bath from two volunteers! In addition to volunteering that day, the Jr. Trail Riders got local stores to donate tack and other horse supplies. I would like to personally thank all of the Jr. Trailriders for your help.
