 Miami-Dade Crimestoppers is a 501c3 organization.  Donations will be held until the perpetrators are caught and convicted or until the statute of limitations on the crimes runs out (usually 5 years).  Large donors will be contacted at that time and may request their reward donations be returned to them.  Small donations will, at that time, go into the general reward fund.
