May was adopted 7/30/04 and is no longer available. May is our “golden oldie.” A 25 year old Golden Palomino, she is a Quarterhorse-type mare, 15H. She’s so sweet and easy going that she’d be fine for a beginner handler. We named her May because she was found abandoned by the side of Okeechobee Road in NW Dade in May. Despite the fact that she was starving and emaciated, her overall health is good for her age. She has a minor stifle injury and is not rideable but she’d make a fine pet or companion horse. |
