August 26, 2004- Monster has been adopted! He's made incredible progress in a short period of time and will be in his new home in a few short days!
HISTORY - This large, gentle chestnut Quarterhorse came to us after being abandoned by his owner at a boarding facility in Hialeah Gardens. Some kind passerby called the police after noticing his condition. Monster had not been fed in weeks! The owner of the stable didn’t consider it her responsibility to feed this horse that was left in her care. She made a mistake. A big mistake. She is legally responsible and charges are pending against her. But what must this poor horse have thought when day after day, week after week, other horses were being fed and he was not? When other horses were living in clean stalls and he was standing in filth? Well, all that is behind him now. The thrush he got from living in filth is being treated. The good care, love and nutritious food he’s getting now will soon be apparent. He’ll be as beautiful as ever with his star, stripe and 2 white socks. Monster stands 15.2H and is18-20 years old. |
