Paso Fino Gelding

This poor horse was rescued by the South Florida SPCA at a rock quarry in North Dade on July 30, 2008. He had been without food and water for a long time. It took us over an hour to catch him but he settled in quickly at our rescue ranch facility. He has a very long mane and tail and it took 2 hours to get the knots out and give him a bath. He really enjoyed the attention and the hands on .
(Not to mention the hand feeding of hay!)
Here are a couple more photos of his first two hours at the SPCA rescue ranch.
