11 STARVING HORSES RESCUED
BY SOUTH FLORIDA S.P.C.A.

 

Eleven starving horses including 5 foals were rescued by the South Florida S.P.C.A. from a facility in Southwest Dade County. The owner of the horses has been charged. All horses have been transported to the South Florida S.P.C.A. where they are receiving food, water and medical attention. Once the horses have recovered they will be available for adoption.
The South Florida S.P.C.A.already has 30 rescued horses at our facility. Jeanette Jordan, President of S.P.C.A. asks for your help. " We need Florida Horse owners to help us by taking in some of the healthy, beautiful, sound horses already at our ranch to make space for the new rescues that are in terrible shape" ."Our feed bills are already over $6000.00 per month. Our funds are running low and we sure could use your help!"
You can't adopt a horse? What can you do to help? The best way to help these horses and allow us to continue our efforts to stop the abuse and abandonment of horses is through your donation. The numbers of horses that are in trouble has risen significantly in the past year. Give what you can. It will really make a difference in the lives of so many horses in need!
