After a citizen reported horses being kept in inhumane conditions to Miami Gardens Police, we seized Autumn along with two other horses (Hidden Fling and Marshmallow) on Saturday, October 7, 2017. All three were padlocked into their ramshackle stalls, deep with mud, with no drinkable water or edible feed. The owner was not on the premises at the time. Autumn arrived with rotted and overgrown hooves, covered in mud. She was attended to by our vet on 10/10/17, and will be in quarantine until 10/28/17. Please check back for updates.
