Elliott was previously adopted and was returned to us on Thursday, February 23, 2017. He will be in quarantine for 21 days and evaluated for rider suitability, after which he will be available for adoption. Please check back for updates.
UPDATE 4/25/17: Elliott is out of quarantine but is being kept in rehab status. Photo right: Elliott receiving a chiropractic adjustment from Dr. Charles Baillie on 4/8/17.
UPDATE 8/30/17: Elliott is out of rehab and has been in training under saddle with great results. The trainer notes he can be a bit on the naughty side, likely was barn sour, so she’s working on that and a few other habits he learned. Overall, Elliott is progressing nicely, and note he is suitable for an experienced rider.
UPDATE 10/20/17: Training continues to be going well for Mr. Elliott! See video below. Our trainer notes he still has a few quirks to work out, but with time and dedication, he’s going to be a great horse for the right adopter. Are you his “person?”
If you would like to learn more about Elliott and/or to make an appointment to see him, please email our adoption committee at (only if you are 18 or older). Please note we only adopt within the state of Florida.
