Hi, I’m Euphoria!
I was born here at the SFSPCA rescue ranch on June 16, 2017, and the volunteers here threw me a nice party to celebrate my first birthday. I’m officially a yearling! I am very curious about everything and everyone, and love sticking my nose into anything I can. Since my mom Serena was adopted, I have my very own stall with my BFFs in theirs nearby. When I was younger, I was only allowed in the Nursery Pasture. But now I’ve “graduated” to the big field with the other yearlings here at SFSPCA. I’m a little smaller than the rest of the gang (hey, I’m a petite princess!) but I can keep up with all of them when we race. Ha!
Curious about my name? The people here tell me Euphoria means “a feeling or state of intense excitement and happiness.” Yep, that’s me for sure! Our friends Nancy and Jon Batchelor of The Batchelor Foundation gave me that name, and I LOVE IT!
