Hi, I’m Jodi!
They told me I didn’t have to be afraid anymore, but I didn’t believe them for a long time. I was just a foal, running around loose with a herd that adopted me after my mom died. We were all hungry and scared when we were rescued. I stuck close to my new mom Mora, and hid behind her a lot at first. I didn’t want anyone to touch me or even get near me, even though everyone did seem nice.
That was a whole year ago, though it seems like yesterday. I’ve grown a lot and am much bigger, and I’m allowed to run and play in the big field now with my friends, which is the best! And, I’m not as scared of people or things anymore. My Mora is still nearby, and she says she’s super proud of me.
Lately, I’ve been learning fun stuff with a professional trainer who is teaching me good manners. I really like it when we go to the round pen and she brings things for me to investigate. She teaches me words and I learn what she wants me to do. She says it will help get me adopted, which may be awhile. Until then, I’d be so happy to have sponsors.
