We’ve enjoyed watching Marley grow up at our ranch, and are very excited about her potential. She has been lightly started under saddle, but very green. We’ve had her out on two trail rides (in halter) and learned she really loves the water. Marley is a friendly, intelligent filly with nice ground manners, though we note she needs a patient farrier. She gets along well with other horses in group turnout. Trainer Ginger Krenz, a natural horsemanship professional, is currently working with Marley to help her overcome some confidence issues with noted improvement.
RESCUE STORY: Marley was rescued with three other horses on Monday, April 20, 2015. She and the others were seized by police and turned over to SFSPCA after being found in deplorable conditions at a ramshackle boarding facility in Miami Gardens.
If you are interested in adopting Marley, please first complete and submit the adoption application (link below). Once your application is received, we will get in touch with you about next steps. Our staff is always busy picking up new rescues, tending to sick or injured horses, and even testifying in cruelty cases, so it may take up to a few days to respond. Your patience is appreciated!
