We rescued Perry on June 6, 2018 in SW Miami-Dade, found abandoned by a good samaritan on the side of a road, and we’re now fighting for his life. Perry is battling multiple medical issues, which includes EPM (Equine Protozoal Myeloencephalitis), pneumonia and a paralyzed flap (Layngeal Hemiplegia). In this video, SFSPCA founder Laurie Waggoner describes his condition and what we are doing for him. Despite everything, Laurie says, “He’s one of the sweetest, friendliest ponies to ever come through here. He’s always talking, looking for his food… We just love him and are going to give him every shot we can.”
